On August 4, 2009, LADWP staff presented a proposed implementation plan for a solar power program to the Board of Water and Power Commissioners. The presentation was intended to give the Board, and the public, a framework for a comprehensive solar program designed to maximize the city's generation of solar power - the City's most abundant renewable energy resource.
LADWP is planning to hold a series of regional meetings this fall to provide opportunities for meaningful public input about the comprehensive solar plan.
