Neighborhood News and Information Alert
SAVE THE DATE – WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOUR INPUT
In the continuing spirit of collaboration with Neighborhood Councils City-wide, we welcome all NC members and stakeholders to attend a special presentation and discussion on the LADWP 2009-10 Fiscal Year budget.
The presentation will be held at the Downtown LADWP headquarters building on Wednesday May 20, 2009, at 3:30 PM in Room 1514,
We are scheduling this presentation to provide Neighborhood Councils with an opportunity to review and ask questions regarding the proposed budget well in advance of its final consideration and adoption, which is scheduled for June 16th. This meeting will take place the day following an overview presentation to the Board of Water and Power Commissioners. Neighborhood Council members are invited to attend these and other Board presentations on the budget.
This will be an excellent opportunity for you to learn about the upcoming budget year and its challenges, and to provide your input directly to LADWP executive management. The budget meetings to be held by the Board also provide an opportunity for Neighborhood Council members and stakeholders to provide formal public comment during the series of meetings shown below.
In addition, particularly for those who are unable to attend any of these meetings in person, you can provide your input and ask questions online by using the Inquiry feature at www.ladwpneighborhoodnews.com.
