The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s Media Relations program is committed to providing the news media with reliable and clear information in a timely manner. Media relations specialists are available to respond to media inquiries, arrange for interviews and media tours, disseminate information about the LADWP through news releases, media advisories and fact sheets, arrange for news conferences, and keep the news media informed during emergencies.
Our specialists are available 24-hours a day to respond to emergencies and provide information on problems such as power outages and water main breaks.
All other media inquiries, including policy issues and interviews with our experts, are handled during our business hours, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
